Job Title: Senior Associate Attorney
Location: Los Gatos, CA (Fully Remote, but the attorney will need to be able to make physical appearances at court when necessary)
Work Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
 - Friday: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
 
Job Description: Our law firm, located in Los Gatos, CA, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join our team. We value a hybrid work environment and are flexible with remote work; however, the successful candidate must be available for in-person court appearances as required.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage Family Law Cases: Handle family law cases from intake to resolution with minimal oversight, ensuring each case progresses efficiently and effectively.
 - Court Appearances: Appear in person for court proceedings, hearings, and trials as necessary to represent clients’ interests.
 - Client Communication: Provide legal advice and counsel to clients, keeping them informed about case developments, and ensuring their needs are met throughout the process.
 - Drafting and Negotiation: Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other case-related documents; negotiate settlements and manage mediation sessions.
 - Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor junior staff, fostering their professional growth and encouraging a supportive, collaborative work environment.
 - Achieve Billable Goals: Proactively work to meet or exceed billable hour targets and contribute to the overall success of the firm.
 - Case Management: Ensure the efficient management of cases, including maintaining accurate case files, adhering to deadlines, and collaborating with paralegals and other staff.
 - Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with current family law statutes, case law, and best practices to provide clients with the best possible legal representation.
 
Requirements:
- Active California Bar License.
 - A minimum of 4 years of experience in California family law.
 - Proven capability to handle cases independently from start to finish.
 - Strong commitment to mentorship and team development.
 
Performance Metrics:
- Achievement of billable goals.
 - Contribution to team collaboration and mentorship.
 - Adherence to the firm’s core values in daily practice.
 
Salary Range: Starting at $100,000, could be higher depending on experience
