Aspire Bakeriesis looking for a Sr. Manager, Customer Developmentto lead one of our most important strategicaccounts. In this role, you’ll own the customer relationshipend-to-end—from sales strategy and account planning to execution,merchandising, and promotions—ensuring we deliver on key revenuetargets and drive sustainable growth. Partnering closely withMarketing, Brand Management, and Supply Chain, you’ll alignAspire’s objectives with the customer’s corporate strategy, manageproduct performance, and provide quick, effective solutions toquality or food safety issues. This is a highly visible role whereyou’ll influence business direction, lead presentations andnegotiations, and strengthen long-term partnerships whileidentifying new opportunities for distribution and innovation.
Responsibilities:
Manage this key strategic account toachieve volume goals through new placements, positioning,merchandising and promotion. Serve as expert with this assignedcustomer, understanding the customer’s corporate strategy, and howto align the company with the customer’sstrategy. Collaborate with Marketing and BrandManagement team to develop and implement plan to meet and exceedannual budget. Communicate with existing Aspire customerdevelopment to make sure we are cohesive and aligned to Aspire’soverall strategic direction. Manage and drive this strategic account from end toend, and ensuring we meet our targets. Works with internal stakeholders to ensure we meetthe customers’ expectations on product. Able to respond quickly to any quality or foodsafety opportunities and provide solutions and nextsteps. - Lead & participate in presentations,negotiations, sales meetings, and trade shows with key external& internal stakeholders.
Ensure customer satisfaction stays high, developlasting relationships with existing customers, and create newrelationships. Provide thought senior leadership in drivingdistribution growth on current foods and new launches.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required. Four-year college degree from anaccredited institution. 5-7 years sales or sales managementexperience in a business-to-business salesenvironment. Food experience strongly preferredStrategic, resourceful, & creative individual who is a provenhands-on sales leader that thrives in a teamenvironment. Flexible personality and able toregularly transition between high-level, strategic work anddetailed, tactical work.Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint,Word)Excellent communication and presentationskills
Salary Range: $110,000- $150,000
