Sr. Product Quality Engineer – Fort Lauderdale, FL The Opportunity Our client, a global equipment manufacturer, has hired us to find a Sr. Product Quality Engineer for their Fort Lauderdale, FL location. This position is responsible for leading quality initiatives throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and compliance while driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Plan and conduct system audits; track corrective actions and maintain QMM procedures Manage quality metrics, including IDC, EDC, FFR, and lead early warning reports Lead quality engineering activities for new and existing products, ensuring compliance standards Drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma, Lean, or Kaizen methodologies Review and approve Engineering Change Requests and participate in project teams Collaborate cross-functionally to identify, analyze, and resolve product quality issues Support value stream managers with Q-Basics assessments and shipping holds Promote ISO 9001 QMS management system and support continual improvement Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field 5+ years of experience in product quality engineering Strong knowledge of quality systems, standards, and methodologies Proficiency in FMEA, quality metrics, 8D, root cause analysis, and ISO Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Preferred: Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field Experience with statistical analysis tools and software for quality data Check out our website at www.availasearch.com!
