TheSenior Supply Chain Engineer is responsible for leading the design,analysis, and optimization of customer and internalinbound-to-final mile distributor supply chain networks to improveservice levels, reduce costs, and support strategic growthinitiatives. This role combines advanced analytics, projectmanagement, and cross-functional collaboration to deliverinnovative supply chain solutions. The ideal candidate will have astrong background in logistics, operations research, and supplychain modeling, with a proven ability to drive measurableimprovements across complex networks. This position is for ourKINEXO center in Rocky Mount,NC.

What you'll doas a Senior Supply Chain Engineer:
  • Design and optimizesupply chain networks, including transportation, warehousing, anddistribution strategies.
  • Lead cross-functionalprojects focused on cost reduction, service improvement,operational efficiency, and increasedrevenue.
  • Conduct scenario modeling andsensitivity analysis to evaluate trade-offs and provide strategicdirection on optimal solutions.
  • Utilizeadvanced analytics and supply chain design tools (e.g., Optilogic,Llamasoft, or comparable software) to support data-drivendecision-making.
  • Collaborate with internalstakeholders (Sales/ National Accounts, Business Analyst,Operations, Procurement, IT, Accounting) and external customers/supply chain partners to design and implement supply chaininitiatives that increase profitability for KINEXO and providevalue to external partners.
  • Develop andmaintain models to support strategic planning, capacity management,and contingency planning.
  • Support the businessdevelopment activities as needed to include visits to potentialcustomers share results from network designactivities.
  • Participate as needed in RFI's andRFP's for new and existing customers.
  • Presentfindings and recommendations to senior leadership with clearbusiness cases and ROI analysis.
  • Mentor othersupply chain engineers and analysts, fostering a culture ofcontinuous improvement andinnovation.

Qualificationsyou'll bring as a Senior Supply Chain Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree inBusiness, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering,Logistics, or related field (Masters Preferred) with 7+ years' workexperience
  • 5+ years of experience in supplychain, logistics, or operations consulting/ business development
  • Proficiency in supply chain modeling tools anddata visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI,Tableau).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solvingskills with experience in Advanced Excel/ Power Query, PowerBI orTableau, and knowledge of SQL, Python, orR
  • Excellent communication and presentationskills.
  • Experience with ERP and TMS systems(e.g., AFS, Mercury Gate. SAP, Oracle,Manhattan).
  • Ability to manage multiple projectsand priorities in a fast-pacedenvironment.
  • This position requires the abilityto read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient toperform job-related tasks effectively andsafely.
  • This includes understanding workinstructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to therole. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the joband ensures compliance with workplace safety and operationalstandards.
