Staff Accountant

Senior Staff Accountant

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, and providing accurate financial reporting to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
  • Perform cost accounting and analysis to identify areas for financial improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to provide insights on financial performance and trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data integration in NetSuite and Varian systems.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
  • Experience with cost accounting and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly NetSuite and Varian.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
