Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Staff:

Estimated annual base pay:$113,200 (minimum) - $147,000 (midpoint) - $181,000 (maximum)

Senior Staff:

Estimated annual base pay:$145,000 (minimum) - $181,000 (midpoint) - $218,000 (maximum)

Staff Level

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust system architectures aligned with organizational requirements.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute complex engineering projects within timelines.

  • Identify and resolve intricate technical challenges using advanced analytical methods.

  • Advise senior management on emerging technologies and best practices to improve systems.

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to enhance their technical skills and ensure best practices.

Key Skills:

  • Expertise in systems engineering and complex system architecture design.

  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical thinking for technical challenges.

  • Strong technical leadership and ability to guide cross-functional teams.

  • Strategic technology planning and advisory expertise for business needs.

Senior Staff Level

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the senior technical expert, advising leadership on complex systems engineering matters.

  • Shape and implement strategies that align with organizational goals and anticipate industry trends.

  • Lead and oversee high-risk, multifaceted engineering projects across departments.

  • Develop innovative solutions for unique, complex challenges that broadly impact the business.

  • Communicate complex technical concepts to senior stakeholders and influence strategic decisions.

Key Skills:

  • In-depth expertise in systems engineering and advanced technologies.

  • Strategic planning and ability to align initiatives with business objectives.

  • Leadership of high-risk, cross-functional, and complex projects.

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of industry trends for informed solutions.

  • Exceptional stakeholder influence and communication skills for senior leadership.

Successful candidates have:

  • Bachelor's degree in sciences (BS) in relevant field AND

  • 8+ years experience

  • Provides leadership of system and subsystem technical scope defined above and takes a lead role with engineers, designers and technicians
