Starbucks Barista at See Rock City Inc

The Starbucks Barista provides guests with prompt, friendly service while consistently preparing quality beverages and food items in accordance with Starbucks and Rock City Enterprises standards. This role maintains a clean and welcoming café environment and delivers excellent guest service. Under the direction of the Starbucks Manager, the Starbucks Barista performs the following duties:

• Deliver excellent guest service to internal and external customers in alignment with Rock City Enterprises’ mission, culture, and values.
• Model appropriate guest and partner interactions at all times.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, as well as normal cashier duties.
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow operational policies and procedures, including cash handling, safety, and security standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support efficient operations.
• Consistently prepare and present beverages, whole bean, and food products according to Starbucks recipes and quality standards.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Adhere to Starbucks and Rock City Enterprises’ employment policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café, including bar, back of house, and seating areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education & Experience

• Previous barista or food service experience preferred but not required.

Knowledge & Skills

• Friendly, kind personality with a strong desire to contribute to a team.
• Ability to present a professional, engaging, and polite image to guests and partners.
• Effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Ability to read and understand training materials.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong basic math skills for handling money and transactions.

• Regular use of hands and fingers.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch frequently.
• Ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds.
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
