HiFyve is hiring a State Certified Electrician for the manufacturing industry in Shakopee, Minnesota!
Salary: $44–$45/hr
Shift: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
Location: Shakopee, Minnesota
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, repair, install, and wire electrical and electronic equipment throughout the plant, including motors, switches, control panels, and circuit breakers
- Interpret verbal instructions, drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications to determine repair or installation methods
- Perform electrical work in compliance with wiring codes, material properties, and safety standards, including on energized circuits when necessary
- Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit, fittings, and wiring for new installations, relocations, and temporary operations
- Support plant operations by completing related electrical tasks as needed
Education Requirements:
- Must hold a current Minnesota State Electrician License
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, wiring codes, and equipment operation
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and safely working with electrical systems, including energized circuits
- Proficient in using electrical tools, materials, and test equipment
- Capable of independently planning and executing complex electrical projects
