About the Role:
The Steward / Busser / Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining and kitchen areas to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. This position is responsible for supporting the front-of-house and back-of-house teams by promptly clearing and resetting tables, washing dishes, and managing waste disposal. The role contributes directly to the overall guest experience by ensuring that the environment is clean, safe, and welcoming at all times. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential to meet the fast-paced demands of the hospitality setting. Ultimately, this position helps uphold the establishment’s standards of hygiene and service quality, enabling other team members to focus on delivering excellent customer service.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and carrying heavy items.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards in a food service environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong work ethic and reliability with punctual attendance.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or food service industry.
- Knowledge of commercial dishwashing equipment and cleaning chemicals.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food service and sanitation.

- Ability to multitask and maintain composure during busy service periods.
- Basic English is an advantage though not required
Responsibilities:
- Clear and reset tables promptly to prepare for incoming guests, ensuring all dining areas are tidy and presentable.
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines and manual methods as needed.
- Assist with the removal and proper disposal of waste and recyclables in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support kitchen staff by maintaining cleanliness in food preparation and storage areas, including sweeping and mopping floors.
- Collaborate with servers, cooks, and management to ensure smooth workflow and timely service during peak hours.
