PositionSummary:
The Store Planning Specialist isresponsible for site selection, location deployment, spaceplanning, and all related project management. The projectspecialist oversees and facilitates location moves, expansions, andnew store openings by coordinating with internal teams andvendors. |
EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for communications and updatesto personnel, including field and internal leadership, fieldpersonnel, and external vendors, for new and existing storeinformation and updates | |
Utilize real estate software for marketresearch, lease analysis, and space selection. | |
Perform site selection for current andfuture locations. Intake all necessary information and measurementsin each potential location by recording multiple data points perspace. This includes but is not limited to: measuring clearheights, taking space dimensions, charting pain points, and notingspace conditions. Includes travel wherenecessary. | |
Prepare lease offers. | |
Responsible for space planning related tothe expansion of Leaf Home product lines in new and existingmarkets. | |
Manage store openings and relocations forthe assigned Leaf Home offices. | |
When necessary, travel to new locations tomanage and perform all tasks necessary to open new spaces orrelocate existing offices. | |
Coordinate with multiple internal teams throughout the organizationto complete new and existing store openings. |
Required Education andExperience:
RequiredEducation |
Bachelor'sdegree or a Combination of education, training, andexperience. |
RequiredYears of Experience |
2+ years incommercial real estate, project management, or facilitymaintenance. |
AdditionalRequirements: |
Proficiencyusing project management software. |
Ability tojuggle various work activities and shift their attention from onetask to another to meet the demands of different stakeholderswithout “dropping the ball.” |
Proficiencyin floorplan software. |
Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills at all levels to communicate withinternal and external stakeholders articulately. |
Valid driver’slicense. |
