Job Description Summary / TWC Summary:Under general supervision performs maintenance on building structural equipment to include but not limited to doors, door hardware, dry wall, wall framing systems, suspended ceilings, entry systems and floor covering systems.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:
- Detail-oriented
- Problem solving and decision making
- Inspects building systems.
- Modify spaces with structural wall modification.
- Document’s discrepancies.
- Maintains building structure repairs.
- Maintains building equipment as required.
- Preforms recoating, paint, and drywall.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Hiring Range:$26.46-$33.74
Education:High School diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent preferred.
Required Licensing/Certification:None required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of:
- Procedures, Best Practices, and requirements.
- Routine, preventive, and corrective building maintenance.
- Requires some seasoning and experience beyond the entry level to conduct moderately complex work. Demonstrates general competence and growing knowledge and understanding of the overall function or discipline.
- Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications.
- Problem-solving and decision-making.
- Multitasking and time management.
- Strong analytical.
- Both verbal and written communication.
- Work independently.
- Communicate effectively.
- Field experience or military experience may be substituted.
- Five (5) years previous building maintenance experience, including two (2) year experience in commercial construction.
- Reach and grasp objects.
- Stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, lift or crawl.
- Prolonged standing and/or walking.
- Handling moderate to heavy weight objects
- Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skill.
- Use or carry equipment.
- Communicate information verbally and in writing.
- Receive and understand information through verbal and written communication.
- Work a fluctuating work schedule.
- Routine travel.
