Structural Designer/BIMLocation: Boise, IDFiccadenti Waggoner and Castle Structural Engineers (FWC) is seeking a detail oriented project drafter to join our talented team in our Boise, ID office. Applicants must have 1-5 years of experience in structural modeling; be proficient in Revit Structure and BIM; MWF (metal wood framing program) experience helpful; must be technically competent in all aspects of structural drafting; and be able to successfully coordinate with other disciplines to check completeness and quality of structural drawings. The ideal candidate would be highly self-motivated, works well with others; has the ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines; and demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills.The job responsibilities include: produce structural drawings of various types of buildings using Revit Structure. He/she must also be able to manage structural modeling of moderately complex projects.Some of the types of work FWC is involved with include parking structures, theaters, theme park structures, pre-fabricated curtain wall systems, multi-family residential buildings, hotels, seismic retrofits, and commercial and retail buildings. FWC is a medium-sized structural engineering firm with offices in Irvine and Concord, CA; Henderson, NV; Charlotte, NC and Boise, ID.
