Nature & Purpose of Position:This position provides support for the Office of the Vice President of Facilities Management.
Duties to include:
- General clerical work such as filing, inventory checks, supply management, and data input will be required.
- The ability to use office machines: computer, copier, and scanner will be required.
- Student must possess ability to use Microsoft Office and use the Outlook Calendar.
- This position requires customer service and reception area management.
- Must be a self-starter, responsible, reliable, punctual, and able to maintain work place confidentiality.
- Organized, ability to type, use office machines, have experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Keep an organized and professional work environment.
- Student should be a self-starter, able to follow instructions, and takes pride in their work.
- Ability to alphabetize and maintain electronic databases and physical files.
- Must be a team player and build good working relationships with staff, coworkers, and superiors, along with guests in the office.
- Student will provide quality customer service on a daily basis to Facilities Management Staff, Customers, and end users whether it is written, verbal, or in person.
- Be willing to learn and adapt to a fast paced working environment.
