Job SummaryThe University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Student Facility Staff. This person is responsible for maintaining a welcoming environment at the Rec Center through excellent customer service and assisting Facility Supervisors with building operations in the absence of professional staff. Recreational Sports provides a healthy, friendly work atmosphere and accommodates student schedules. Uniforms are required. This position is subject to semester GPA and conduct checks. Campus Recreation and Wellness is committed to supporting the academic and personal success of students and will refer students to support resources as needed.
Responsibilities- Oversee all facility duties, during shifts, as assigned.
- Provide excellent customer service to all patrons.
- Ensure University and Campus Recreation and Wellness policies and procedures are followed.
- Communicate urgent needs as necessary with the Supervisor on shift and/or the Facilities Coordinator.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Must have fitness background, strong communication skills, desire to serve in a leadership role, and be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs
- Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
- Must maintain minimum 2.50 GPA
- Must have current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (or obtain within 30 days of employment
