Job Responsibilities
Serves as the one-stop resource for students. This position will serve as a single point of contact for students, supporting admissions, academics, student services, and finance to help prospective, incoming, and current students achieve their educational and career goals within defined timelines. Maintains student records and applies policies following established procedures.
This position’s primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide proactive, accurate guidance to students at all stages: prospective, incoming, continuing, and returning.
Offer one-on-one advising for dual-enrolled students, assisting with financial and academic planning for post-high school enrollment.Support admissions, registration, placement exams, testing, and document processing.Serve as a liaison between students and internal/external departments to resolve issues and support success.Counsel students regarding financial aid, South Carolina student aid, veterans’ benefits, and semester payment plans.Ensure completeness of application documents and determine eligibility for aid.Maintain accurate student records through data entry, scanning, and the use of college systems.Extract and interpret data to guide long-term student planning and support academic goals.Accept transcripts and assist transient students.Contribute to the continuous improvement of student services processes.Provide multi-channel service, including in-person, phone, email, and virtual support.Minimum and Additional Requirements
This position requires a bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs. Preferred Qualifications

Qualifications and SkillsExperience supporting Student Services, Academic Affairs, and Finance & Administration functions.Proficiency with computer software and integrated student database systems.Strong communication skills; able to interact effectively with students, staff, and the public.Analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate and interpret student financial aid status.Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and make effective decisions.Exceptional customer service, organizational, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to work additional hours during peak processing cycles; occasional local or overnight travel may be required.Willingness to complete training as needed to perform required duties.
