Substitute CPI Paraprofessional Placerville, CA at Go Spindle

Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A regional educational organization seeks a Substitute CPI Paraprofessional to provide behavioral and instructional support in classrooms on a substitute basis. This position is ideal for professionals who value flexible scheduling and student-focused work.
Responsibilities / Duties:

• Assist in implementing behavioral intervention plans and classroom management strategies

• Use CPI techniques to prevent and respond to behavioral incidents safely and appropriately

• Support instructional activities and assist students with academic or adaptive goals

• Monitor student behavior, record data, and maintain confidentiality in all documentation

• Contribute to creating a structured and positive learning atmosphere
  Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current CPI certification or ability to obtain prior to placement

• Experience working with students in behavioral or special-education settings preferred

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and de-escalation skills
