Position Overview
A leading commercial GC is seeking a highly motivated Superintendent to oversee and drive various construction projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing commercial TI construction projects, focusing on tenant improvements for a variety of commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
- Develop project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Conduct regular site meetings to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.
- Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in TI project management within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in managing commercial construction projects, including ground-up and tenant improvements (e.g. offices, retail, restaurants, etc.)
- Strong understanding of construction procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
