Position Highlights: Position: Supervisor - Neurodiagnostics Location: Arlington Heights, IL Full Time, 40 hours/week Hours: Day shift Required Travel: No What you will do: Clinical Supervision and Interpretation: The Supervisor, Neurophysiology is responsible for the daily inpatient and outpatient operations of the Neurophysiology Lab on assigned shift, ensuring quality patient care delivery and proactively identifying areas for potential risk and improvement. This includes direct clinical supervision and interpretation of routine/continuous EEG recordings and long term monitoring Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) patients, including seizure detection, non-epileptic events (NEEs), sleep staging, and artifact identification. Additionally, the position oversees modalities of NCV/EMG, Evoked Potentials (EP), and Intra-operative Neuro Monitoring (IONM) programs. The Supervisor serves as the first line of coverage for out-of-office situations and actively participates in patient care as a working technician, including after hours and on-call support in alignment with the Neurophysiology Technician position, ensuring accurate and timely reports are generated according to established protocols and regulatory guidelines (e.g., AANN, ABRET, ASET, and NAEC), providing expert clinical judgment regarding patient cases, consulting with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and other healthcare professionals, and participating in quality assurance activities to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
