Supervisor, Production, 1st shift (6 am-3 pm) at Entegris

The Role:

Entegris is currently seeking a Supervisor, Production to join our Operations team. This position will be based in our Burnet, TX facility.

In this role, you will focus on high-quality, safety-focused disassembly, assembly and troubleshooting of vessels as well as improvement of manufacturing processes to drive safety, quality and efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Take charge and lead team to ensure department meets production demands providing daily direction and prioritization.

• Ensure production equipment is maintained and utilized in accordance with engineering procedures and standards to include management of critical spares.

• Drive accountability across the team and instill a culture of operational discipline, proper change management, and safety.

• Lead a team that is passionate about safety, quality, and customer's impression of Entegris.

• Work with team to develop and implement productivity improvements to improve cost savings and efficiency.

• Partner with planning team to coordinate order scheduling, capacity adherence, and routing accuracy.

• Develop and monitor department performance objectives and metrics and implement improvements.

• Work with support cross-functional groups (engineering, planning, logistics, analytical lab, new product development) to improve processes and team performance in support of site goals.

• Lead the team to improve department and individual performance through coaching and team and individual developmentwhile exemplifying Entegris PACE values.

What We Seek

• Bachelor's degree in a technical area of study preferred or 5 years of equivalent work experience

• 5+ years of manufacturing or operations experience with continuously increasing responsibility.

• 3+ years of leadership experience preferred.

• Chemical, gas or semiconductor experience is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with ISO 9001/14000, OSHA 18000 environments.

• Lean, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Six Sigma experience.

• Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office applications (SAP experience is a plus).

• Strong level of commitment to team-based management on the factory floor.

• Proven track record of safety, quality, and customer focus.

• Visible leadership and engagement on the factory floor, as well as different functional groups.

• Strong level of commitment to team-based management and interpersonal engagement.

• Meet or exceed production schedule and on-time shipment deliveries for team

• Ability to drive continuous improvement projects and eliminate non-value-added activities.

• Embraces decisions that are made for the good of the team.

• Ensure tasks and products are completed to the highest standards.

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 51lbs daily.

• Ability to perform visual checks and handle highly hazardous material responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Ability to attain respirator certification.
