Job Description

Modular Active Protection System – System and Laboratory Technician Essential Job Functions: As a Technician with DCS Corporation for the US Army GVSC Active Protection Integration Laboratory, you will support integration activities both locally and at test ranges, lab inventory operations, and lab process and procedure improvement. You will be looked upon to maintain an orderly lab environment, identify areas of improvement, propose and execute process improvement solutions, and develop operational lab procedures. For technical support of integrations and demonstrations of systems, your role will include the connections and setup of sub-system components, addressing system functional issues (from a setup perspective), and providing rapid field support. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required. High School Diploma and Seven years of experience or Associates Degree or Technical School and 5 years of experience. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. Experience with Military vehicles or system FSR related work. Experience with lab process and procedures development and oversight. Experience managing inventory for complex projects. Experience with system and document configuration management. Strong leadership skills and demonstrable experience supporting engineers within a lab setting. Highly motivated and willing to seek and address areas of improvement.
