Systems Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and well-qualified Systems Engineer to join a high-performing team supporting critical defense and technology programs. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to mission success while working with a diverse group of professionals dedicated to innovation and operational excellence.

The Systems Engineer will play a key role in providing engineering expertise throughout the system design, integration, and implementation life cycle. This role requires a strong foundation in systems engineering principles and the ability to ensure that all technical solutions align with Department of Defense (DoD) requirements, mission objectives, and operational standards.

The ideal candidate will bring a collaborative mindset, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience supporting complex technical environments. Key Responsibilities

The Systems Engineer will:

  • Provide systems engineering expertise across the design, integration, testing, and implementation life cycle

  • Support the development of secure and reliable solutions that meet program and mission requirements

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams, stakeholders, and program leadership to achieve objectives

  • Ensure compliance with systems engineering standards, security requirements, and DoD policies

  • Contribute to technical documentation, testing, and configuration management activities

  • Deliver high-quality engineering solutions within established timelines


Required Skills & Experience

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional systems engineering experience

  • Demonstrated experience supporting DoD or similar defense environments

  • Proficiency in systems design, integration, testing, validation, and implementation activities

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills


Education & Certifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline

Preferred:

  • Industry certifications such as Security+, PMP, or equivalent

Security Clearance

Applicants must be U.S. citizens with an active or transferable Department of Defense security clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
