Systems Technician at Zing! Recruiting

What You'll Be Doing
Step into the world of high-tech automation. As a Systems Technician, you’ll help build and wire advanced manufacturing systems used by top automotive companies. You’ll work directly with robots, conveyors, guarding systems, and more—bringing complex engineering designs to life on the shop floor. If you thrive on hands-on work and love seeing machines come together, this is your kind of job.

What You'll Do

• Assemble and wire mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components
• Follow detailed engineering drawings and schematics
• Build out full automation cells: robots, risers, conveyors, guarding, etc.
• Install cable trays, junction boxes, safety devices, and control panels
• Collaborate with engineers and teammates to hit project deadlines
• Help plan labor and weekend work to stay on schedule
• Track progress and update punch lists daily
• Maintain high-quality standards and clean documentation
• Secure and maintain your own tools (we’ll provide calibrated ones)
• Follow dress code and safety shoe policy
• Show up consistently and ready to work

What You Need to Know

• How to read and follow technical diagrams
• Experience with automation systems and electrical components
• Familiarity with MIOSHA safety rules (Lockout/Tagout, hazardous materials)
• Understanding of ISO 9001 standards
