1st Shift Mon-Fri 7 am-3:30 pm
(OT - 6 am - 3:30 pm)
Effective w/e 11/25/2023, all new starts for Boonton will have a 30% increase to their base pay to cover the client\'s compensation package. Please inform the contractor that they will lose their 30% increase at conversion but will gain their benefits, including PTO and Holiday pay.
This is due to the new law passed in NJ.

Position Summary:
Wires diversified and sophisticated systems following complex drawings and specifications.
Reports to Production Manager.

Position Responsibilities:
Wiring of large racks, cabinets, and equipment systems which requires the employee to stand, crouch, stretch, and assume physical positions necessary to address work.
May perform complex point-to-point wiring and harness assembly, chassis back-plane wiring following blueprints, drawings, notes, specifications, harness boards, and models.
Assembles units requiring skilled fitting, adjusting and aligning to close tolerances.
Has ability to follow work cell procedures.
Solders to best commercial specifications.
Uses hand and power tools competently.
Performs related duties as assigned by supervision.
Works with limited supervision.

Skills and Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years of electronics assembly and wiring experience.
Excellent soldering skills.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
