Job Title: Tax Manager
Location: Los Angeles (Hybrid 3 days a week in office)
Salary: $140k - $200k + Bonus
Requirements: Active CPA or EA, Currently a Manager or Supervisor at a CPA firm

Our CPA firm is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Tax Manager/Supervisor who enjoys working with others in the and consulting with clients. The accounting position duties include preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, calculation of payroll and sales tax, and financial statement preparation along with client consulting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of your client list
- Reviewing clients books and records; live and after the fact
- Reviewing the bookkeeper's work; giving feedback, training etc.
- Preparation and review of all types of returns 1040, 1040NR, 1041,
1120/1120S, 1065 and 990 - Tax planning, tax projections
- Addressing and resolving IRS/State notices including communication with the IRS/State, client
and writing written responses accordingly - Performing tax & accounting research as necessary
What You Need:
Required
- CPA or EA
- 5+ years Public Accounting experience
- Prep and Review Exp.
Preferred
- Pass-through Entity Exp.
- 1120, 1120s Exp.
- Master's in Accounting
