Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance and planning within the organization. This role is critical in ensuring that all tax-related activities are executed efficiently and in accordance with legal requirements, while also providing strategic insights to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial performance.

This role is critical in ensuring that all tax-related activities are executed efficiently and in accordance with legal requirements, while also providing strategic insights to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and laws, keeping abreast of changes in the tax code.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax benefits.
- Conduct tax research and provide recommendations for tax planning opportunities.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure adherence to tax regulations.
- Train and mentor junior staff on tax accounting principles and practices.
- Prepare and present tax-related reports and analysis to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
