Job Description
Tech Coach & AI Workflow Lead

Birmingham, AL 35203 | On-site

At Lightfoot, Franklin & White, excellence is about more than results—it’s about teamwork, trust, and relationships. We’re a nationally respected litigation firm that’s always looking for smarter, better ways to serve our clients. Now we’re bringing that same spirit to how we use technology and AI.

We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just understand tech. They make it approachable. Someone who can coach, teach, and guide our teams with the same care and service we show our clients, making new tools feel easy and even a little exciting.

As our Legal Tech Coach & AI Workflow Lead, you’ll help shape how we work in the age of AI. You’ll lead trainings, roll out new tools, and simplify complex systems so everyone feels confident using them. A background in legal technology, operations, or process improvement is ideal. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred, and familiarity with platforms like iManage, NetDocuments, Litera, Relativity, or AI tools such as Harvey or Lexis AI is a plus.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead engaging, practical trainings for attorneys and staff on legal tech and AI tools.

  • Roll out new systems—document management, time entry, AI and drive adoption.

  • Analyze workflows, remove friction, and design smarter, automated solutions.

  • Bridge the gap between legal, IT, and innovation, keeping everyone aligned.

  • Stay ahead of trends—test tools, pilot new workflows, and suggest improvements.

You’ll Thrive If You
  • Have experience training users and driving adoption.

  • Know how law firm workflows tick (or are eager to learn).

  • Enjoy problem-solving and challenging “we’ve always done it this way.”

  • Communicate clearly whether leading a room or helping 1:1.

Bonus Points For
  • Hands-on with iManage, NetDocuments, Litera, Relativity, or billing/time systems.
  • Curiosity about legal AI like Harvey, CoCounsel, Casetext, Lexis AI, or Copilot.

  • Background in legal ops, knowledge management, or process improvement.

Why Lightfoot?

We’re not just looking for someone to run trainings and answer tickets. You’ll be part of how we practice law—helping shape how work gets done in the age of AI. If you’re ready to join a firm that values excellence, collaboration, and innovation, this is your chance to do it right.
