Technical Account Executive - Sales Rep for MSP supporting SMBs
- Location: Southwest Orlando (Hybrid Schedule)
- Base Salary 75k - 100k+ (commensurate with experience and achievements)
- Variable Comp: 25k - 100k ++
Primary Responsibilities:
Drive sales pipeline, engagement and deal closure for:
- Managed IT Services (monitoring, backup/recovery, disaster recovery, internet circuits)
- Cybersecurity Services (endpoint protection, SIEM/SOC, penetration testing, security awareness training, dark web monitoring, phishing simulation)
- Cloud Productivity & Collaboration (Microsoft 365, hosted email, mobile device management)
- Data Protection & Compliance (policy establishment, cybersecurity insurance consulting)
- IT Projects and Hardware
Primary Responsibilities:
- Partner with Account Executives from complementary product lines to prospect existing customers.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers on: Opportunity scoping, qualification and technical requirements (Sales Engineers provide technical depth)
- Engage in company-sponsored training and proactively pursue knowledge and resources for continuous learning
Experience, Skills & Education:
- Experience in technology solution sales, ideally:
- Managed IT services/MSP environments
- Backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Cybersecurity technologies (EDR, MDR, Security Awareness Training)
- Information Technology consulting
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of consistent sales performance with quantifiable results (e.g., President's Club)
- Stable job history
