Job Title: Technical Sales Support
Location: Baltimore, MD (Hybrid Position - 2 Days in Office, 3 Days Remote)

Position Summary
Technical Sales Support will play a critical role in supporting the sales team by managing key administrative and operational tasks. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills to handle data entry, contract administration, hardware ordering, inventory management, and customer inquiries via phone. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Salesforce and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Entry & CRM Management: Accurately input and manage customer data, sales orders, and project details in Salesforce to ensure up-to-date records and streamlined sales processes.
- Contract Administration: Prepare, review, and manage sales contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and client specifications.
- Hardware Ordering: Coordinate the ordering of hardware components for custom steel doors and windows, liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality standards. AHC certified
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels for hardware and materials, conducting regular audits and coordinating with the production team to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Customer Support: Answer incoming phone calls, addressing customer inquiries, providing order updates, and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow from order placement to delivery.
- Reporting: Generate reports on sales activities, inventory status, and order progress using Salesforce and other tools to support sales team performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or a related field preferred, or equivalent.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles, preferably in manufacturing or construction industries.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce CRM for data entry and reporting; familiarity with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to resolving issues and improving processes.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with custom steel door/window manufacturing or similar industries is a plus.

- Office-based role with hybrid schedule. Two days in-office & three days work-from-home.
