Technician - MODULE Lab at System One

Job Title: Technician – Module Lab Location: South Plainfield, NJ Work Model: Onsite – Contract to Hire Hours: Monday–Friday, 8AM to 430PM Pay: $20–$22/hour TECHNICIAN – MODULE LAB This is a training-based, cleanroom-friendly role ideal for candidates looking to break into high-tech manufacturing, even if they come from non-traditional or unrelated backgrounds. Full training is provided, and the company offers growth potential into engineering-level roles. RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor automated production equipment and assist with light assembly. Follow cleanroom protocols (gowning required) and standard operating procedures. Visually inspect photonic components and support basic handling tasks. Log basic production data and notify supervisors of abnormalities. Keep the workstation and cleanroom area organized and compliant. Work with engineers and technicians as part of a collaborative, high-precision team. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred No prior photonics or cleanroom experience necessary — training provided. Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable with repetitive tasks. Strong English communication skills required. Mandarin fluency is a plus, but not required. Great fit for candidates with experience in sterile environments, nursing, manufacturing, cleaning, or quality-driven roles.
