Temporary Accounts Receivable Specialist at Accentuate Staffing

Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Temporary Accounts Receivable Specialist for a manufacturer in Garner. This position is responsible for processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners. This role is open to help with a system conversion and will last 6-12 weeks. Responsibilities: Accurately compile and record amounts owed to the company in the accounting system, ensuring invoices align with purchase orders and comply with organizational policies. Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders; reconcile variances against purchase orders and related documentation. Monitor and ensure the timely collection of payments due. Maintain thorough and accurate records of all incoming payments, including issuing and documenting credit memos for returned or damaged items. Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from internal and external customers. Verify account balances on monthly statements and assist with invoice processing as needed. Post daily cash receipts and complete monthly reconciliations. Support basic financial reporting and provide documentation for internal and external audits. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Accounts Payable, Payroll, Finance, etc.) to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks. Gather, review, and report critical financial data to support business operations and decision-making. Uphold the integrity of all financial records and assist with finance-related projects and documentation. Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and abilities. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. SAP experience is preferred Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with internal and external partners.
