Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Territory Sales Representative to lead sales efforts across Michigan. This role focuses on driving revenue and profit growth through consultative, education-based selling to architects, specification writers, general contractors, and other commercial building professionals. Responsibilities of the Territory Sales Representative Meet and exceed assigned sales targets within the Michigan territory. Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers, including architects, engineers, and contractors. Conduct daily outreach to potential commercial customers to drive new business opportunities. Deliver engaging in-person and virtual PowerPoint presentations (training provided). Manage the full sales cycle—from project design through completion. Travel throughout Michigan (including overnight travel) to support customer needs. Accurately forecast and report sales activities using HubSpot CRM. Evaluate territory performance against sales forecasts and objectives; implement strategies to improve results. Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer requirements and project goals. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures. Assist in developing area coverage plans and sales objectives. Provide timely and detailed reporting to support business and product planning. Requirements of the Territory Sales Representative Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 3–5+ years of sales experience; experience in commercial roofing, waterproofing, or construction products preferred. Strong presentation and communication skills. Proven ability to build relationships and close sales through solution-based approaches. Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
