PositionSummary: Field Canvassers generate qualifiedleads for the sales team. This is accomplished by covering anassigned territory each shift and meeting with prospectivecustomers at their homes to introduce our product offerings andgather their information for the sales team to schedule productdemonstrations.
EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:
- Door to door customer relationship building topromote Leaf Home products.
- Cover assignedterritory during scheduled shifts.
- Acquirecustomer contact information for product demonstration and generateadditional leads by asking forreferrals.
- Report daily results to fieldmanagement.
- Performs other duties as assignedby supervisor.
Experienceand Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma orequivalent.
- 1+ years of experience incustomer service and/or sales.
- Ability to workoutside in varying climates.
- Ability to workevenings and/or weekends.
- Ability to jugglevarious work activities and shift their attention from one task toanother to meet the demands of different stakeholders without“dropping the ball.”
- Ability to thrive in afast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a “rollup your sleeves” and “win every day”mentality.
- Hold oneself accountable andresponsible while being self-driven in accomplishinggoals.
- Detail-oriented and can focus on task athand by finding the most efficient and effective pathway tocompletion.
- Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills at all levels to communicate with internal andexternal stakeholders articulately.
- Ability tologically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, findinconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, andengage in reflection.
- Ability to provide timelyand empathetic service through all communication channels keepingpeer and customer needs first.
- Must be legallyauthorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship foremployment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilitiesor Certifications:
- Previous door to door canvassing experiencepreferred.
- Home improvement knowledge and/orexperience.
TravelRequirements:
- Localtravel required.
Overtime/Additional HoursRequirements:
- May berequested to work overtime on evenings and weekends dependent onbusiness need.
PhysicalRequirements:
- Fieldoffice/manufacturing/constructionenvironment.
- Performs work outside in varyingtemperatures and climates.
- Sedentary work.Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligibleamount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pullor otherwise move objects, including the humanbody.
