Lead Test Automation Architect (QA / DevOps / Cloud) – Hybrid Onsite, Auburn Hills, MI Join us at the forefront of next-generation quality engineering, where you’ll architect intelligent, AI-driven automation frameworks that redefine how enterprise software is tested and delivered. This hands-on role empowers you to modernize our automation strategy, eliminate manual testing, and accelerate software releases through cloud-native frameworks and DevOps integration. We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Architect to lead the modernization of our enterprise-wide QA strategy. This hands-on role will design and implement intelligent, cloud-native test automation frameworks that leverage AI tools, CI/CD integration, and microservice-based architectures to ensure quality at scale. What You’ll Do Architect and implement advanced test automation frameworks (UI, API, performance, and AI-system testing). Design AI-assisted automation and intelligent test-data management solutions. Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines using Groovy, Jenkins, and DevOps practices. Automate testing for distributed, containerized systems (Docker / Kubernetes / AWS / Azure / GCP). Lead and mentor QA teams to adopt next-gen tools and automation standards. Develop automation in Java, JUnit/TestNG, Cucumber, Maven, Selenium; perform API and exploratory testing. Troubleshoot and debug in Linux environments; exposure to performance and security testing is a plus. What You Bring 10+ years in QA / Quality Engineering, with 8+ in automation. Proven experience designing enterprise-level automation frameworks. Cloud-native testing experience (AWS / GCP / Azure). Hands-on expertise in Java-based test automation and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
