Test Automation Engineer

Requirements 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools using modern testing methodologies and best practices. This includes selecting appropriate tools and technologies that align with the technology stack and business needs 
• Write, execute, and maintain automated testing for functional, regression, performance, unit/component, integration, and end-to-end tests 
• Generate/improve overall testing documentation and provide detailed reports on testing outcomes 
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and manual testers to understand requirements, define test scope, and integrate testing into the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) 
• Integrate automated testing into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster feedback loops 
• Prepare automated test tooling to assist with Software Integration Testing (SWIT) and System Integration Testing (SIT) procedures 
• Champion a culture of quality across the engineering team and define best practices and standards for test automation 
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and team collaboration efforts to ensure thorough test coverage and alignment with project goals

Security Clearance Requirement 

• U.S. Citizenship required  
• Must be eligible for DoD Secret clearance (active Secret or TS/SCI strongly preferred) 

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Proven experience leveraging test automation to build consistent and repeatable validations 
• Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavioral-Driven Development (BDD), Page Object Model (POM), web technologies, CI/CD, and version control 
• Familiarity with best practices for test automation, TypeScript, Node.js, scripting, and test automation tooling (e.g. Playwright, Jasmine, Karma, Angular TestBed) 
• Comfortability with risk assessment, troubleshooting, and continuous learning 
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies and collaborative tools 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
• Effective communication skills and ability to work within a distributed team 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 

Compensation details: 110000-140000 Yearly Salary
