A company is looking for a Thermal Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and optimization of high-temperature airflow and thermal control products.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and refine damper and expansion joint designs using CAD with a focus on high-temperature performanceApply CFD and FEA modeling to predict thermal behavior and material fatigue under high heat loadsOversee prototype builds and develop testing protocols to verify mechanical strength and thermal resistanceRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fieldProven experience or strong academic exposure in thermal analysis, heat transfer, and mechanical designProficiency with SolidWorks, ANSYS, COMSOL, or similar simulation/design toolsUnderstanding of creep, thermal expansion, and stress analysis in high-temperature applicationsExperience with metal fabrication, refractory materials, or industrial HVAC/flow control systems preferred
