Job Title: TIG Welder and Fabricator
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder and Fabricator for a first shift position located in Middleville, MI. This role involves maintenance and fabrication responsibilities, specifically working with 11 gauge stainless steel wash systems. The position is a contract role expected to continue until Thanksgiving, with work hours from Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding on 11 gauge stainless steel for wash systems.
  • Conduct welding both inside and outside, in horizontal and vertical positions.
  • Engage in maintenance responsibilities including preventive maintenance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints for fabrication and maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to welding and fabrication processes.
Essential Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in TIG fabrication.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading.
  • Experience in preventive maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities.

Work Environment

The work environment is a first shift position with hours from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The role requires the provision of your own welding helmet, while other equipment will be supplied. You will be working in a facility focused on building high-quality wash systems, adhering to safety standards and efficient workflow processes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
