Group Summary:
The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.
Job Responsibilities:
Plans and prepares schedules for die designs for die castings, trim dies, gauges and production design requirements in accordance with customer specifications. Coordinates models to be built and die building . Liaises with customer engineering department. Standardizes die components and compiles design standards. Searches out new technology in die design and implementation. Prepares operating and capital budget for engineering department and works within approved cost control budget. Updates and maintains equipment.
