Traffic Coordinator at Volt Workforce Solutions

Volt is immediately hiring a Logistics & Transportation Coordinator in Bothell, WA.
*6+ month long contract *
As a Logistics & Transportation Coordinator you will:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for transportation-related questions and issues
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments with carriers and 3PL partners
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, including classification, valuation, and country of origin
- Manage shipment claims related to loss or damage with carriers or insurance providers
- Support HazMat shipping requirements and compliance processes
- Assist with shipping operations during peak periods or urgent timelines
This is a full-time, contract opportunity. (At least 6 months long)
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Logistics & Transportation Coordinator candidates must meet the following requirements:
- 5+ years of transportation or logistics experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Working knowledge of import/export regulations, Incoterms, and compliance standards
- Experience coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PL partners
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and Microsoft Office
- HazMat, DOT, or IATA certifications preferred
Pay Rate*: $33/hr.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
