Staffmax Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Stepdown Unit Registered Nurse for an exciting Travel Nursing job in Newburgh, IN. Shift: 3x12 hr nights Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Pay: $2227 / Week Requirements: Compact RN license AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS 3 years RN experience 1 full year of stepdown experience 1 travel assignment completed Trauma level II experience Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class) Patient Population: Cardiac (post cath stents/interventions, pacers), CIWA/BH, Sepsis, DKA, CVA, CPAP, feeding tubes, crani POD 2, GI bleeds, hypothermic/bear hugger Skillset REQUIRED- Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (travelers are required to pass a tele test), Initiate/titrate drips (antiarrhythmics, Heparin, Insulin, etc.). Post surgical assessment/care.
