Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Trust & Estates Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trust and estate planning, with the ability to provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance to clients on various estate-related matters. This role is essential in helping our clients navigate the complexities of estate planning and ensure their wishes are fulfilled in line with the law.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice on trust and estate planning matters
  • Draft and review wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents
  • Assist clients in the administration of estates and trusts
  • Conduct probate proceedings and represent clients in court as necessary
  • Advise clients on gift tax, estate gift tax planning, and charitable planning strategies
  • Develop customized estate plans that address clients' unique needs and goals
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting trust and estate planning
  • Collaborate with financial professionals to provide comprehensive estate solutions
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in trust and estate planning
  • Strong knowledge of probate law and estate tax regulations
  • Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
