Telehealth Therapist – Depth-Oriented, Relationship-Focused Practice at Psychiatric & Psychological Specialties
Job Description
🧠 Depth-Oriented Clinicians: Redefine Your Practice with Purpose, Flexibility, and a Team You Can Trust
At Psychiatric and Psychological Specialties (PPS), we offer more than a job—we offer a professional home for clinicians who want to practice with depth, autonomy, and integrity. We are a woman-owned, clinician-led private practice that supports experienced mental health professionals in doing the work they were trained to do: long-term, meaningful psychotherapy that creates lasting change.
We’re looking for mid-career licensed clinicians who are ready to move beyond quick fixes and high-volume models—and instead, join a team that values clinical excellence, relational depth, and professional collaboration.
🌿 Our Mission
We promote mental wellness through high-quality therapy, assessment, and medication management, with a special emphasis on depth-oriented approaches. Our diverse, interdisciplinary team collaborates to create a supportive environment where both clients and clinicians can thrive.
💬 Why Join PPS?
✅ Depth-Oriented, Relational Work
- We believe in working beyond symptoms to address underlying patterns and dynamics.
 - Our clinicians are trained and supported in long-term psychotherapy, allowing space for meaningful change to unfold.
 - We value therapeutic presence, clinical patience, and the ability to navigate complex phases of the therapeutic relationship.

✅ Telehealth Flexibility
- Work from anywhere while maintaining a full caseload.
 - Set your own schedule and create a work-life balance that fits your needs.
 - We provide HIPAA-compliant tools, Zoom phone/text, and encrypted email to support seamless virtual care.

✅ A Team You Can Trust
- Weekly Zoom meetings for connection, consultation, and shared learning.
 - A diverse, experienced team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and counselors.
 - A culture of mutual respect, collaboration, and professional growth.

✅ Full Administrative Support
- Referrals and marketing
 - Insurance credentialing and billing
 - EHR system and documentation tools
 - Risk management and clinical consultation
 - General administrative infrastructure

🔍 Who We’re Looking For
- Independently licensed (or license-eligible) in Michigan
 - 5+ years of post-licensure experience preferred
 - Experience in EMDR, couples therapy, or exposure therapy is a strong plus
 - Clinicians who are flexible, grounded, and committed to long-term client work
 - Strong interpersonal, documentation, and time management skills

💼 Compensation & Structure
- 1099 Independent Contractor
 - Fully Remote (with optional access to physical offices in St. Joseph, MI and Chicago, IL)
 - $70K–$80K/year for standard caseloads
 - Up to $120K/year for high-volume clinicians (30+ billable hours/week)

💡 Why a Woman-Owned, Clinician-Led Practice Matters
In contrast to corporate or private equity-owned mental health companies, PPS is:
- Led by clinicians who understand your work and your values
 - Rooted in relationships, not revenue
 - Focused on quality care, not productivity quotas
 - Committed to creating a sustainable, supportive environment for clinicians
