Wash Bay Tech at Cimarron Trailers

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all operations within the Wash Bay by following established processes and procedures accurately and safely
• Clean, wash, and polish the inside and outside of trailers, component parts, or other company vehicles as assigned, using approved chemicals, water, pressure washers, or other cleaning materials
• Ensure products move efficiently and effectively through the Wash Bay
• Monitor equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and is in good working condition
• Inspect trailers for leaks, streaks, spots, stains, missing welds, damage, and overall quality
• Assist the Trim Shop with final detailing and minor repairs
• Ensure that quality standards are consistently met and maintained, with work completed within production deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
• Be flexible and available to assist in other departments as needed by the company
• Follow all policies and procedures set forth by Cimarron Trailers
• Regular attendance is critical to meeting job requirements

Education and Experience:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Able to work efficiently both within your own team and with other teams
• Familiar with product construction and application processes.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities while adapting easily to changing situations

• None

Physical Demands:

• Able to stand and walk throughout the facility for extended periods, including up to an entire 8-hour shift and any required overtime
• Capable of stooping, bending, twisting, squatting, and kneeling as needed throughout the day
• Able to use hands and arms repetitively to grip, twist, squeeze, and operate tools such as wash/spraying equipment, pneumatic and electric hand tools, and other hand tools during the 8-hour shift and any required overtime.
• Frequent and repetitive lifting of up to 25 lbs. throughout the shift, with occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Anything over 50 lbs. must be team-lifted.
• Able to safely and effectively handle the tools required to perform the essential functions of the position.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Chemical protective suit must be worn at all times when handling chemicals
• Safety glasses are required at all times
• Safety shoes must be worn at all times

Work Environment:

• Work environment includes a combination of plant and outdoor settings
• Exposure to various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold, as work involves transitioning between indoor and outdoor areas
