Welder - American Augers at The Toro Company

Pay: $18+/hr based on experience

Hours: Monday - Thursday 5am-3:30pm

American Augers, located in West Salem, Ohio is a division of The Toro Company. American Augers builds the largest horizontal directional drills in the industry, and a full range of auger boring machines. What Does an American Augers Welder Do?

• Read information from blueprints, technical manuals, or other documents.

• Use a hoist to lift and position large, heavier components and completed weldments.

• Set up, adjust, and operate MIG welding equipment to weld machine components.

What Elements Do We Look For?

• MIG welding experience or have completed a formal welding training program.

• Pass required entry-level plate test for production welding.

• Appropriate mechanical skills, including experience using hand and air-powered tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.).

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
