Welder / Fitter $27 - $28/HR - 2nd Shift at Summit Skilled Solutions / MCM

We are seeking a skilled Fitter for 2nd Shift to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As a Fitter, you will play a crucial role in assembling and fabricating components in accordance with specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met on construction sites. This role includes 100% fully paid benefits.

Duties

• Interpret and analyze blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to assemble and fit various components, ensuring precision and accuracy.
• Employ basic math skills to calculate measurements and dimensions accurately.
• Use tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure proper fitting of parts.
• Collaborate with other team members on construction sites to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications before installation or delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fitting or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and the ability to interpret technical documents.
• Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in welding, pipe threading, and assembly processes.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Basic math skills for accurate calculations related to measurements and dimensions.
• Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety regulations.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Must be willing to work 2nd shift
