Job Title: Wire Harness Technician

PAY; $35-$38

Job Description

The Wire Harness Technician will build custom harnessing by engaging in tasks such as cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and terminating based on wire diagrams. This role involves wire harness assembly, interpreting wiring schematics, and ensuring manufacturing verification. The technician will also work with military circular connectors and ensure the test box is safe to mate before moving to the next department.

Responsibilities

  • Build custom harnessing by cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and terminating based on wire diagrams.
  • Assemble wire harnesses and PCBAs.
  • Interpret and work from wiring schematics and drawings.
  • Ensure the test box is safe to mate before transitioning to the next department.
  • Utilize various fasteners and fastening tools during assembly.
  • Work with military circular connectors.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in wire harnessing, soldering, electronic assembly, and crimping.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Experience with assembly in aviation, vehicle manufacturing, and harnessing.
  • 5 years of experience as a wire harness technician or master technician.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Molex wire harness (not required).
  • Experience as an avionic technician.
  • Capability to lift 50lbs unassisted.
  • Experience in test fixture build and harness build.

This is a Contract position based out of Torrance, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
