Wiring Technician – Control Panels - 6 month contract

Location: Harrisburg
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM + overtime
Pay: $20-$24

Sansom Staffing has partnered with an industry leader in Industrial Automation seeking a three Wiring Technicians to assemble, wire, and test industrial control panels and electrical enclosures. The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials to perform precision work in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Wire and assemble electrical control panels, junction boxes, and harnesses per engineering drawings and schematics.

• Route and terminate wires neatly using standard practices and labeling requirements.

• Mount and connect components such as relays, PLCs, power supplies, terminal blocks, and switches.

• Perform continuity and insulation resistance testing to verify proper wiring and system functionality.

• Inspect work for accuracy, neatness, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or associate degree in electrical technology preferred.

• 1-3 years of experience in wiring, electrical assembly, or control panel manufacturing.

• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and layouts.

• Familiarity with electrical standards such as UL 508A and NEC codes is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Basic mechanical skills and ability to use hand and power tools safely.
