Mid-Level DevOps Engineer (Hybrid or Remote)
USWe are in search of an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our engineering group and support the development and growth of our technology infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies in the advancement of our technology goals and deliver reliable, scalable products and services. This job will be remote with US citizenship required, and there is an optional hybrid arrangement in Costa Mesa, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Infrastructure Runtime: Contribute to designing and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions with the help of cloud services, namely AWS and Azure, and infrastructure as code tooling such as Terraform. Create resource provision automation and configuration management processes.
- Automation Driven: Develop and enhance Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery pipelines.
- Identify opportunities for automating manual processes in order to streamline developer workflows.
- System Monitoring and Support: Perform system health checks, identify problems, implement alerting, and participate in incident response. Engage in the on-call rotation as part of our team's shared responsibilities.
- Team Collaboration: Work with developers, QA, and other teams to improve deployment processes and support a DevOps culture. Participate in the processes of maintaining documentation and sharing knowledge within the team.
- Grow & Learn: Stay current with trends and technologies in the DevOps space; recommend new improvements in existing processes and tools.
Qualifications:
- DevOps Experience: 2-3 years of experience in DevOps-related roles and functions, including an understanding of core principles and practices in DevOps.
- Cloud Knowledge: Experience working with major cloud platforms, such as AWS and Azure, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform. Familiarity with security best practices around cloud infrastructure management.
- Automation Skills: Experience in scripting languages, including but not limited to Python and Bash, and other automation tools that foster efficiency.
- CI/CD Experience: Conceptual understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment and experience with associated tools like Jenkins and CircleCI.
- Monitoring Tools: Working experience with monitoring and observability tooling, consisting of Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana for system performance tracking and troubleshooting.
- Security Awareness: Basic knowledge of security best practices and how to integrate those into DevOps workflows.Team Player: Good problem-solving skills, good communication, and enthusiastic about working collaboratively within an environment.

- Knowledge of container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with configuration management tool
