Software Developer – Direct Hire

Henry Hire Solutions is currently looking to add a Software Developer to our team to help build upcoming products to market launch. This position is a flexible part time contract. The contract period will be 3-6 months based on performance, with potential to hire. We are based out of Spokane, WA. About the job: 

We are looking for a Software Developer who is ready to showcase their skills and meaningfully contribute to Henry Hire Solution’s product development. You’ll be a vital member of a collaborative team, working closely with Data Analysts, Business Developers, and UX Designers. Here you’ll leverage your skills to design, build, and implement cutting-edge software solutions that power our industry-leading services. We’re looking for someone with strong Java and Python programming skills, expertise in microservices creation and implementation, and familiarity with the Spring Framework or similar. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, but not required. This role entails day-to-day software development tasks, emphasizing the delivery of properly instrumented, and efficient code as part of a growing distributed system.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement user-facing web applications at scale and hold up to expansion of a diverse user base
• Raise the bar in innovation and the evolution of our approach to backend and front end development
• Communicate and deliver complex, technical solutions to a variety of stakeholders both technical and non technical
• Develop and maintain highly scalable and reliable applications to interact with complex backend systems
• Engage with cross functional teams to deliver rapidly evolving product in a timely manner
• Emphasis on delivering clean, efficient high quality code and software solutions for the client
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed within set time and quality standards
• Delivering high quality code and software solutions for our upcoming services
• Perform day to day software development tasks including programming, creation, and implementation of microservices, leveraging the Spring Framework

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Computer Science or related field (certifications and experience will be taken into consideration)
• Experience in full stack software development
• Familiar with Spring Framework
• Proficient in ReactJS, JavaScript, Python, etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Effective communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts to all audiences
• Critical thinking abilities, efficient time management, and the ability to meet deadlines

Nice to have:

• Experience in creating and implementing microservices
• Startup experience (not required)
• Experience building and developing large-scale user facing web applications
