Position Overview
As a Corporate Recruiter, this role provides critical talent acquisition support to teams that include editorial producers, on-air talent, marketing experts, digital journalists, advertising sales strategists, and operations professionals. The position focuses on full-cycle recruiting for diverse roles across Disney’s media and entertainment divisions.
Corporate Recruiter Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Strategy
- Develop and execute full life-cycle recruitment plans to identify, evaluate, and hire top talent for roles across Ad Sales, News, and Editorial departments
- Create strategic sourcing plans including competitor mapping, talent pipelining, and forecasting timeframes for complex executive searches
- Ensure exceptional service delivery for candidates, clients, internal teams, and recruiting partners throughout the hiring process
Sourcing & Candidate Engagement
- Utilize innovative sourcing methods to attract passive talent, including resume mining, social media recruiting, employee referrals, and professional networks
- Attract, influence, and convert passive candidates by communicating Disney’s employment value proposition and understanding competitive market dynamics
- Conduct in-depth phone and video screens to assess candidate interest, qualifications, and salary expectations
Stakeholder Collaboration & Client Management
- Collaborate with hiring managers and HR business partners to understand department culture, team needs, and business strategies
- Maintain high standards of candidate experience and client account management throughout the recruitment process
- Guide candidates and hiring teams through the selection process, offer negotiation, and onboarding to ensure seamless candidate journey
Compensation & Offer Management
- Partner with Compensation teams and Hiring Managers to define competitive and compelling job offers
- Negotiate salary packages and employment terms with candidates and hiring managers
- Manage offer processes from initial discussions through final acceptance
Industry Knowledge & Business Development
- Continuously build business knowledge of the media, entertainment, news, and advertising industries to inform recruiting decisions
- Represent Disney at networking events, industry conferences, and recruitment fairs
- Stay current with talent acquisition trends and best practices in media and entertainment recruiting
Documentation & Process Management
- Maintain transparency and provide timely updates through documentation in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and related platforms
- Ensure compliance with recruiting processes and employment regulations
- Generate recruiting metrics and reports for stakeholder review
Job Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in full life-cycle recruiting, preferably in media, digital, entertainment, or corporate environment
- Demonstrated ability to partner with hiring teams and HR to design and implement effective recruiting strategies
- Experience sourcing for diverse roles including editorial, production, sales, marketing, and various business functions
- Proven success using social media and sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.) to identify and engage passive talent
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday, Greenhouse, or similar ATS platforms)
- Proficiency in recruiting tools and technologies including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques
- Experience with candidate relationship management (CRM) systems
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for roles in advertising sales, digital journalism, news production, or entertainment industry
- Familiarity with media industry and knowledge of Disney’s business segments and brands
- Background working in corporate recruiting team supporting multiple lines of business
- Experience with diversity and inclusion recruiting initiatives
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range
$81,800 – $114,800 annually (remote position with geographic considerations) Base pay varies depending on candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Internal equity also factors into compensation decisions.
