About the 1:1 Paraprofessional Role: The 1:1 Paraprofessional assists with delivery of instruction care discipline and the preparation of instructional materials for one special needs student as directed by the Special Education or classroom teacher. The 1:1 Paraprofessional performs classroom duties which may include but are not limited to preparing instructional materials assisting with student instruction and daily living skills care and discipline and keeping the classroom clean and well-organized.
